intervention and assists in creating a true paperless office experience and can monitor any data source including spreadsheets.
Sage Abra Alerts is an event driven, SQL triggered, email reporting system and file monitor. The program monitors data sources for any specified changes, actions and/or dates you set the alert to watch for, and then sends out email notifications when this criteria is met.
Basically, the Sage Abra Alerts system functions much like you would expect Crystal Reports would. It queries a database for specified items, pulls the requested information and then presents only that information. Only difference is that it also sends that information in many forms to individuals you designate or are pulled by the query.
The email notifications can contain anything from plain text to multiple attachments including any file format accessible by Microsoft Windows-based PCs. Abra Alerts is also able to use scripts to generate custom reports and spreadsheets that automatically include data from the table being monitored.
The alerts system can also be used against other ODBC, OLE DB, etc. connected data sources to monitor data from more than Abra itself. The scheduling system can also perform scripted Windows functions using WSH, VB and JavaScript.
