“We started using
Abra in 1999, and it has been very successful. We have two accounting
clerks that use it on a day-to-day basis. In the summer the park
district employs 1,350 people who get paid every two weeks. As they
move around the park district and perform different jobs, their
pay rate changes. Here at the park district we don’t have
time to analyze or play with problems. As far as Abra goes it has
been somewhat of a lifesaver. Prior to Abra we had a Unix based
system and a person from the IS had to run all our reports. It was
not user friendly, where Abra is very user friendly.
STS has done a wonderful job for us. A couple years ago kept getting
an error message at one point in the process that really worried
us. Mike Manzo worked with us and it turned out to be a hardware
